Map Illustration - United Kingdom - Grand Central / WMG

I was commissioned by WMG to come up with a warm, summery map illustration for Grand Central - the train operating company. The route is essentially London King's X - Sunderland, but the client asked to have three separate routes highlighted (to York and Doncaster in addition to Sunderland, as they are popular destinations), and a selection of landmarks illustrated along the way.
